Step 5: Gratitude
Finally, give thanks for what you have already received. In Mt 6:32; Jesus tells us that Our Heavenly Father knows what we have need of, before we even ask. What does that mean for you and me? It means that the "Good"-whatever it may be, is already there waiting for you.
Accept It, and give thanks!
Through It All, Why Worry When You Can Pray!
Step 3: Unification
So often when we are praying, we don't fully recognize that during this time of prayer we can unify ourselves with GOD. We can become one with GOD, and feel no separation if we still ourselves, an allow the anxiousness to move out of the way. That presence is ever available for us to unify ourselves with. that is what Jesus meant when He said, "I and my Father are One (John 10:30). And this same Father is your? Father.
Step 4: Petition
Ask GOD for your desire. You see, the desire is fulfilled through you, through the idea, through the attracting power of GOD that brings to you all that you need to achieve your goals. After making your petition, you might, as many people do, experience some doubt whether your praying for the "right thing". Ask yourself these questions:
1st-Is what I'm praying for, good for all concerned?
2nd-Am I willing to give up something that I now have, in order to make ready for my new good? In order for something good to come in, something has to move out. Ask yourself if you are willing to allow this to happen?
3rd-am i willing to accept responsibility for what I'm asking for? With fulfilled desires goes the responsibility of making commitments and making them work for you, and then following through on them.
If you can answer these questions to your satisfaction and no one else's, then you can proceed with your prayers with a Clean Heart, and a ready and receptive mind.
Step 2: Illumination & Seeing Yourself In A Different Light
The word light appears many times in the Bible. What it expresses is the need to pray for the expansion & uplifting of your thoughts as you talk to GOD simply & naturally.Know that you can talk to that Presence just as you would a friend. Once you forgive yourself for feeling foolish & out of place, for fearing that there was no answer, you then begin moving toward the point where you can say, GOD thank you for illumination. Thank you for light; and thank you for Understanding and for showing me how to pray.
To pray effectively, you must know that GOD is the only presence, and the only power; and that it is imperative, that you put on the whole Armour of GOD, before even considering entering into spiritual battle!!!
Step 1: Purification & Relaxation
The first step to effective prayer is to dissolve the worry and purify the mind. That means among other things; forgiving yourself for having allowed yourself to get entangled & upset because you couldn't face a particular situation for what it was; cleansing the mind, dissolving those mental blocks of anger, fear, doubt, excuses, self-pity, and blaming others.

Father, we thank you in advance for meeting the needs of every person whose name appears on this list. We pray for supernatural manifestation in every area of their lives, and we decree and declare that with His stripes they are already healed! We ask for all of these blessings in the precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
